DataBox is a Database Web Publishing tool, designed to be simple to use, highly configurable and to add value to any database that needs to be published on the Web. DataBox allows you to maintain your database on your PC, then Publish its contents into HTML for your Web Site. No programming is required. No Server side

DataBox allows up to 20,000 records to be stored in each Database, each record having up to 20 fields of data, 4 Images and a free-format scroll-box associated with it. Ideal for Real Estate, Vehicle lists, Catalogues, Brochures and lists of any description.
DataBox has been designed to be able to Import virtually any database provided the data as been exported from its source into an flat text or 'ascii' file. DataBox' Import Wizard allows you to select the fields to Import and into which DataBox field they should be placed. You can also append imported data onto the end of a current DataBox database and re-sort the records as necessary.
DataBox is highly configurable for page backgrounds, table backgrounds, descriptions, fonts, colours and general publishing styles. Custom HTML can also be added to each published page.
DataBox can automatically generate Web pages to represent your data, including a Summary view, a QuickView for each Category of data in your database, and a Navigation view, allowing each record to be viewed individually with its own pictures and free format scroll text. A unique search engine can be generated across the entire database or a single search engine for each category of your data. All search engines require no special server side processing or installation scripts.
DataBox will allow Web links to be stored in the database. So when published, users can 'click' directly to other sites, FTP sites, click for file downloads, e-mail and Credit Card purchasing for all your e-commerce needs. Your published database can be linked to your credit card transaction provider (check out www.ccnow.com, www.regsoft.com). HTML can also be specified directly into the
Data fields allowing icons and smaller images to by included in your published pages.
DataBox has its own FTP 'clever' Site manager that will upload your published database to your Web Site. DataBox will only upload those files that have changed since the last upload keeping the transfer time to a minimum.
*An unregistered version of DataBox will print '(Unreg)' randomly throughout the published data. Registered versions will use a security key to remove this restriction. No new software or modifications to data are required after registration. DataBox can be registered as a 5,000 record version or a 20,000 record version. Both versions will have identical features although the 5,000 record version will use less system resources. There will be a higher registration charge for the 20,000 record version of DataBox. The registration keys are not inter-changable. If you register for a 20,000 record version you must install the 20,000 record version of DataBox.
